DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Our team of engineers and technicians come from diverse backgrounds. They have extensive knowledge and field experience in areas that include thermal, mechanical, electrical and control (including PLC) design.

At DFINITI, we are committed to helping you identify and solve your thermal and process heating challenges. We conduct meticulous site inspections to perform a careful examination of your unique environment and operations and to gain a deep understanding of your challenges. Upon completion of the required assessments, our engineers will offer professional advice and present appropriate proposals to help you address your challenges. Whether you need industrial standard or customised products, we can manufacture products that fit your operations and processes.

Utilising proprietary software and other professional software, our engineers and technicians work closely together to carefully construct the required thermal system and equipment to solve your process heating challenges. Among the software we use are:

  • Proprietary software, CALCPEX for heater sizing
  • SolidWorks for 3D heater design
  • AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design
  • Professional software for pressure calculation
  • EIH support design calculation in accordance with ASME Appendix 41

INSPECTION & TESTING

We conduct a step-by-step inspection and testing process on all our products to ensure that they are safe and reliable to use. Our engineers and technicians work together to carry out a detailed Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) with client hold point and witnesses. 

These include in-process inspection and final inspection such as hydrostatic test, gas-leak test, high voltage test, functional test and more.

SITE VISIT

Our team of engineers/technicians can carry out a complete site survey for you. We will conduct a review on areas like environmental factors and product performance and provide recommendations for preventive maintenance. The analysis will help to provide insights into any issue and facilitate the problem-solving process.

We understand time is of the essence. We can perform minor on-site modifications and repair works that are allowed under the framework of Ex-certified products. Otherwise, we can provide in-house modifications and repairs.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

You can count on our support, be it pre-order or post-order. Our team reviews your requirements and conducts careful investigation and assessment on every reported issue before providing appropriate solutions. We render on-site or remote support, and we always assist our customers in the shortest time possible.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & DOCUMENTATION

Our people are experts in the implementation and integration of projects. Each project is under the care of a Project Manager/Lead Engineer. With the support of a team of engineers with relevant experience and qualified personnel, they implement and manage the required activities like planning, documentation, procurement, manufacturing, etc. We attend project kick-off meetings to lay down the foundation and we participate in HAZOP meetings to address any safety issues that may arise.

Our team is capable of a complete project document control. We start by preparing the Vendor Data Register List (VDRL) and the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and followed by other detailed drawings like General Assembly Drawing, 3D Modelling, Schematic Diagram, Test Procedure, WPS/PQR, etc.

TRAINING

According to your unique needs, we can provide comprehensive training that covers areas like operation, fundamental maintenance and basic troubleshooting. We will equip your team with the required knowledge to operate the equipment smoothly and to maximise its output.

MAINTENANCE

We are committed to helping our customers to identify and eradicate any issue even before they surface. Our maintenance service can help to sustain the optimum performance of your equipment and system and maximise their life span. We can offer maintenance service promptly and provide technical and engineering support on-site or remotely to attend to critical or urgent requests.

PRE-COMMISSIONING, COMMISSIONING, START-UP AND TROUBLESHOOTING
